A raised level south facing garden on Ripplevale Road, located in the conservation area of Barnsbury, Islington, features the use of Emery et Cie cement tiles and Vande Moortel charcoal grey bricks laid on edge. It also includes cement board render planters that allow for planting that spills down walls creating vertical interest.

 

The planting design includes a stunning Prunus x subhirtella ‘Autumnalis’ tree and a selection of Japanese maples including Acer palmatum ‘Bloodgood' and Acer palmatum ‘Katsura’.
