Clapton Garden

Front, rear and courtyard garden design for a Victorian House in Clapton, E9

Located on Blurton Road in Hackney, this London garden features dusky pink rendered walls, wide board cedar fencing, tiled areas in brick slips by Ketley and a poured concrete patio.

A planting palette rich in native silver birch trees (Betula pendula), ferns (Polystichum setiferum) and naturally mounding shrubs soften the tight geometry of the design while filtering the view to a rear garden studio and outdoor kitchen area.

Elsewhere black and white Bert & May x Darkroom tiles and design classic vintage planters by Willy Guhl offer additional stylish touches. From the front to the back, the garden design responds to the beautiful contemporary renovation of the house by Morales Finch, and aims to encourage a seamless flow from the inside to the out.
