Garden design for a Victorian House in Barnsbury, Islington, N1

A raised level south facing garden on Ripplevale Road, in a conservation area of Barnsbury, Islington. The garden subtly references Japanese garden design while retaining a prodominantly English aesthetic. It features a stunning Prunus x subhirtella Autumnalis tree and a selection of Japanese maples including Acer Bloodgood and Acer Katsura. The colour scheme of the planting is mainly white and green and hard landscaping details include the use of Emery et Cie cement tiles and Vande Moortel charcoal grey bricks.
